I love Sundays like this. Getting up around 9a.m., reading a little, feeding cats and then onto computer to read the papers and blogs of this world.
This week will be interesting - watching and listening to the Bush folk talk us into going along for another five years of Iraq, Iraq, Iraq!I am thoroughly fed up and getting bored with it, to the point that I now turn channels if I see anything to do with the place....I know that is what they wanted - it seems I have given in for the moment. A body cannot keep ingesting all those lies and imaginings.
Will go now and attempt to upload from a new gadget I got from firefox. Am addicted to these things.

Tonight I went to my 'facebook' and closed down almost all of it. This was after reading that Facebook are going to allow anyone and everyone access to ALL sites - without permission. This, they say, is for the money, well what about principles of privacy, kindliness and business bloody ethics!!
Well, done with that. Today, my mum started on her new computer and she even im'd me. She is over the moon and tearing out her hair, all at the same time - sounds like me 12 months ago.
Been raining in these parts fairly heavily - that 'just right' kind of rain that is good for drenching farms, gardens, and filling dams.

You've just got marvel at the american way of seeing this as a 'nothing' incident. I watched ALL of their news services and not one one led with this story. The lead was Mattel toys. I could weep if it wasn't so ridiculous.

There are not many times I agree with Gingrich, but this is one of them. The americans have gone insane with this long, long election road.

China under fire from all sides a year ahead of Games | Reuters
just trying this out. It is the first time I have tried scribefire.
Every city that has held the Olympics has had s33t put on them beforehand. Some has been earned - but this critiqueing sounds an awful lot like China bashing.

Getting rid of that godawful phrase WAR ON TERROR has to be one of the smartest acts by the Democrats. Was starting to think they a spineless bunch of airheads.
Now they can go on to WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
FAIR AND BALANCED
MY GOOD FRIEND IN THE OPPOSITION
and AXIS of EVIL
I am quite sure there are thousands more, equally silly phrases, but they should do for now. The world can now TALK with and to each other with a modicum of civility, without phrases like the above.

This is my first entry and I am a bit 'whelmed - so I went looking for friends in the 'ragdoll' area. Sue enough, found them by the dozens - am feeling a little calmer now.
Well Hello to you all - and bye for now.
